Good day everyone.
1. Sunday is our Corvallis Battle Road Tournament – it’s free and open to all skill and experience levels. You do need a deck of 60 legal cards. You can fill out a deck list during registration (11am – 1145am) or do it at home using the awesome tool at http://pokegym.net/decklist/pokemon.htm. The Elks will be selling lunch (please no outside food in the building). The Masters group (teenagers and older) typically play 6 games (maybe fewer – it depends on how many players there are) which finish around 5pm or 6pm; Juniors and Seniors are usually done an hour or so earlier. You can drop anytime you’ve had enough. This is a great opportunity to play new people and learn a lot. Questions? Just let me know.
2. Lebanon Battle Road is Saturday. If you’ve ever wanted to play Pokemon ALL weekend, this is a great one to do it! Pizza Factory, 1188 So. Main Street, registration 11am-1145am.
3. Check out the schedule and plan now for Oregon Pokemon tournaments (pdf) through early January! After Autumn Battle Roads comes Prerelease of the next set (Eugene will be the closest event) and then City Championships (Corvallis on Jan. 6).
4. Need more game time? There’s “Just a Game Con” presented by Matt’s Cavalcade of Comics on September 29-30. Call the store for more information. 541-752-6757
