Sunday, 11/10 | League as usual

1. League as usual at the Elks on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2-4pm. (Linda plans on being there.)

2. League Challenge. We have applied to run one of these low-key tournaments on Sunday, Nov. 24, however, it is not yet sanctioned, so please standby. Steve Berrie from Eugene has agreed to come up to run this for us because I don’t yet have authorization. The date will be Sunday, Nov. 24, with registration noon to 12:45. The number of rounds will depend on how many players there are in each age group. The tournament will be Swiss-style (everyone plays every round). Cost: Free. This will differ from other Pokemon tournaments in that there will be no prizes or door prizes, and the Elks kitchen will not be open. Players need to have a legal deck. If you have questions, please ask! Tournaments are fun because you get to play new people with different decks.

3. Thank you to the Portland organizers (Big Daddy Snorlax, Mr. Raichu and Momma June) for running the pre-release last Sunday. I enjoyed hearing people squeal with happiness when opening packs of Pokemon cards.
